The short version
Be kind, protect people and pugs, and share only things you have permission to share. If something feels wrong, report it and our team will take a look.
Keep it warm and safe
- No harassment, bullying, hate, threats, or sexual content.
- No spam, scams, fake support messages, or misleading payment requests.
- Do not share private information about another person, including contact details or anything that could put them at risk.
- Keep animal-care advice safe. Do not encourage dangerous treatment or present guesses as professional veterinary advice.
- Share only photos and words that are yours, or that you have clear permission to use.
How moderation works
New posts are reviewed before they appear widely. Established members’ comments normally appear right away, while a member’s first few comments, links, and words that need a closer look stay in review. We may hide, reject, or remove content that breaks these guidelines. If we take action on your content, an in-app notice will explain what was affected and the reason category used.
Reports are private. We tell the person who reported something when we have looked into it, but we do not reveal who reported the content or share another member’s private details.
If we got it wrong
Email hello@cuppapug.com and a human will review the situation. There are no private messages in the app, so please do not try to move a disagreement into a hidden app conversation.
